Why call it TUPS?

TUPS is actually an acronym for the components that we have combined to create an ideal solution to your data centre issues, communications and technology delivery to your customers.

  T - Technology

  U - UPS

  P - Power Generation

  S - Support

Each TUPS implementation consists of one or more of the components, each delivered in a specially modified 20' shipping container. Each TUPS site can interconnect any or all of the components in any or all configurations.

All TUPS components built are designed to be fully customisable and scalable in order to most effectively satisfy individual user requirements.

DWSA use a Capacity on Demand approach. The units are constructed prior to delivery with 120% storage and processing capability compared to current customer requirements. This allows for immediate expansion of data and processing should extra capacity be required for any reason.

Delivery and installation

The four components that make up the TUPS are housed in intermodal shipping containers which can be delivered by road and⁄or rail.

The four components are sited, any required assembly completed and all components connected by DWSA staff and⁄or its installation contractors.

Any required data and⁄or software is downloaded and⁄or installed if it was not pre-installed prior to delivery

DWSA staff ensure that all TUPS are fully working. (a period of two days is allowed for installation and setup time once the TUPS components have been delivered to the site)

Support

All support for your TUPS is provided by DWSA to ensure you have no support worries.
